Kota Sejati (3’889 Teu’s) has been delivered to PIL

PIL has received the KOTA SEJATI, seventh of 12 wide beam geared containerships of 3,889 teu ordered in two steps in August and November 2012 at the Dalian Shipyard.

The KOTA SEJATI is to join her six sister ships on the PIL’s East Asia-South & West Africa service, so far operated with a mix of geared and gearless tonnage of 2,600-2,800 teu progressively replaced by the 3,889 teu newbuildings.
